Gratitude Stones

I've been drawn to small smooth stones since I was a child. These Gratitude Stones are simple to make and a great way to encourage gratitude in children and adults. They also make wonderful inexpensive but meaningful gifts. You can find instructions for various activities using them on my site article.
SUPPLIES

Small smooth stones.

Gold and white paint or paint pens.

Clear spray coating for stones, or Mod Podge.

Download printable tags and poem (on my site link at the bottom)

A pouch to put them in. ( No Sew Burlap Pouch Tutorial: http://bit.ly/burlappouch )
Gather your stones. They don't need to be perfect just make sure there is at least one flat surface you can paint your hearts onto.
Using a paint brush or paint pen draw a heart on each one. I used gold and white but you can of course use any colors you like.
Outline your heart with white or whatever color you choose.
Add some type of gloss to make them shine!
This printable poem and some gift tags are a free download on my site below. There are also instructions on different ways you can use the stones in activities or as gifts.

What a great idea to get one to remember things we take for granted!!, From there, with a little thought ,one could use these rocks for anything they want to help them with in their life.... A simple "I care" does wonders for the person your giving it to!!!đŸŒ·
