DIY - Velvet Acorns

10 Minutes
Easy
Hi Everyone!
I made some velvet acorns for my Thanksgiving table. They were very simple to make and cost me nothing using supplies I already had in my house. To make this craft even more fun a few of my Instagram friends and I are teaming up to bring you to bring you a fun Craft Hop just in time for Thanksgiving:).
Ever since I made velvet pumpkins last year I have wanted to try to make some velvet acorns. I had the idea of placing an acorn on every plate as a little thank you to my family coming for Thanksgiving.
After gathering the supplies I started about making my velvet acorns.
I placed one acorn on every bread plate for my Thanksgiving table. If you have any questions or want to see my instructions on how I made my velvet acorns click on the link at the bottom of this post.

This is very cute but not everyone can get acorns. Is there a place to buy them ? I'm on the middle of the coast in Oregon and i don't have a clue if there are acorns in this area. # clueless, haha

You can also use marble "acorns", or felt or beaded ones.

If you need acorn caps, I live in the middle of an oak forest.
