Homemade Wood Scrap Photo Ornaments

After making my Rustic Wood Sign Ornaments the other day, I semi-sort of became obsessed with making Christmas ornaments. For this Wood Scrap Photo Ornament, I used some of the same principle as I did with the Rustic Wood Sign Ornaments, but I personalized them with my favorite photos of the kids. You can put pets, family member or your kids/grandkids on these versatile ornaments.
The holidays are my favorite time to craft and one of the crafts I enjoy the most is making ornaments. I make them with my kids. I make them with my parents when they come to visit...I love having a collection of memorable ornaments that tell a story.
Supplies:
*Wood blocks. I used a 1x4 and cut into 4" lengths (so you end up with 4 x 4 blocks)
*wood stain or paint (and brush)
*Photos
*Photo Paper and Color Printer
*Scissors/Paper trimmer
*Corner rounder (optional)
*Decoupage medium (Mod Podge) and brush
*Drill
*Twine (or ribbon)
*Optional: hot glue and embellishments
These are fun personal ornaments with so many possibilities!
