I saw on a post one that someone spray painted their ugly lamp, cut the cord and where the light bulb goes put the top of one of those solar landscape lights. I think they run around $3.00. Used it as an outdoor lamp on their porch and patio.

right here on home talk there are ideas of how lamps were repurposed. Solar lighting, planters a very long list.

Solar lighting is more than likely the best option. You can place them among plants, trees, or like so many of us in AZ we place them around our rock and cactus garden!

Pile them up like a totem pole you could either paint them all the same colour or leave them the way they are. To make it even more of a challenge you could take odd plates or bowls and intersperse them between the lamps.

Ditto for me on Karen's suggestion. I love garden totems! Some are tacky; some are gorgeous. (And one man's tacky is another's gorgeous.) If they interest you, check out this Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.com/WISHAHOLIC/totem/ I've included photos of a couple of my faves. Good luck with whatever you choose. Oops! Looks as if I showed pics only of bits and pieces and not lamps. Sorry. Choose whatever works for you.
