How many of you go out and buy new furniture before your Christmas and/or your upcoming seasonal gatherings?

I bought a couch a few months ago...aside from that I have not "purchased" furniture for a number of years. I do have an ongoing project in my shop where I working on a new coffee table to go with the new couch.

Apparently my wife does. She has been hinting at this very thing the past few weeks. She wants to re-design our home before we have people over during the holidays. Yikes!

I wish!! - But, Santa has other priorities.... We have always bought our biggest furniture purchases in early October or March/April
