Mending Kit in a Mason Jar

This Mason Jar Mending Kit is a great gift for your favorite sewing enthusiast, but it's also great as a hostess gift, housewarming gift, or even a college student.
You can make one of those pin cushions that goes on top of the mason jar (they even make ready made ones) but instead, I put some magnets inside of the lid to hold pins.
Here's what else I put in the mending kit: small scissors, a set of needles inside of a little wood needle case, a tape measure, a seam ripper, thread in different neutral colors, buttons, and safety pins.
The buttons are also in neutral colors and are in different sizes. I kept the buttons together on a large safety pin. I also threaded some small safety pins on to it.
Head to the blog to grab the free printable and to see how I decorated the lid!

That's a wonderful idea for a sewing kit to keep at the office.

This is one of the most adorable and useful gifts. I would love to have received one.
