Love it!!! Anything with more lights at the holidays the better! It seems relatively easy, at least til I get to the artistic part. I'd like to add some real fine glitter dust to the snow flakes. Do you think that it would show on the wood?

I've "pinned" it. I'm going to make it! Thanks. Does anyone know about how long these battery operated lights are good for? or are they high-maintanence? I bought solar operated string lights once - they were garbage.

This is lovely and looks like a fun project, however, I have a question. After using "squinty eyes" to get your lights just right, how do you transfer that design to the back and place lights one by one as you drill? Did I miss something? If so, sorry to be the nutty one on this thread. :P

I will be making this, but a bit more rustic, for a driveway sign. Solar LED patio string lights will light it through the evening.
