Cork Succulent Planter

My friends and I participate in a monthly challenge using an item or theme. This month's theme was cork! I decided to create a cute little succulent planter using a sheet of cork!

Click here to see more of our monthly challenge projects.
You will need a glass jar, acrylic paint, a roll of cork, super glue, and of course succulents!!!
I found this glass jar at Homegoods (my favorite place!) in the kitchen section
I painted the upper half inside and out and cut a strip of cork to size.
I glued the cork on with super glue.
I planted the succulents and voila! I love how it turned out!!!

Be sure to visit the blog post for more details on each step and for a list of all of our previous monthly challenges!!!

You could also purchase the self-adhesive cork and eliminate the need for gluing! Really like the "clean" look of this!

If you put the cork inside, you could use this for houseplants other than succulents.

The cork will hold the moisture, between waterings.

    Just a thought . . .
