I was cruising the Restoration Hardware catalog looking for some ideas for my next build, when I ran into the Printmaker's Series. I was immediately in love and started working on my own version. With sleek lines, full extension drawers and 3 full extension drawers, the DIY 3 Drawer Nightstand is a beauty and you can make your own!

The nightstand body is made from 1x6's and 2x2's.
Lots and lots of pocket holes hold everything tight and make assembly a snap.
I got a little creative when attaching the top of the nightstand. At least those weights come in handy for something!
The drawers are made from 1x4's and are quick to make with a few simple tricks.
This little jig makes mounting the full extension slides much easier and repeatable!
I stained the whole thing with a Kona stain and finished it with Arm-R-Seal Urethane.
Inset drawer fronts are a little tricky, but add a ton of class and sophistication to the piece.
