Mirrored Wreath

by Patricia
I had some very old mirrors lying around, the old kind that is very thick.
First, I got some barn board.
Next, I broke the pieces of mirror and arranged them on the barn board in the shape I desired - in this case, a wreath. I then proceeded to glue the pieces down using regular interior/exterior caulking.
Lastly, I added a bow with ribbon. This is the finished product.
I then hung outside on the house for the holidays.

I love this idea but am afraid about the glass. How about shattering old CDs and creating the circular wreath? It would shimmer and look prismatic as well but be safer and weigh less.

What did you use to adhere the glass to the Barnwood? I live in Canada and would need something that would take the cold weather. I ask because I would love this to be seen on the outside of the home. Lmk Thx
