Giant Clothespin Memo Holder

I love color and I'm trying to incorporate fun hues into my work space and home with functional and totally practical things. After I spied some giant wooden clothespins at the craft store I knew that the perfect memo holder was just a little bit of crafting away!
The clothespins are large and can hold thin pieces of paper as well as a stack of 10-20 pages easily.
To start I sprayed my pins with fun colors and allowed ample dry time.
Popping those babies back together is kind of a pain but totally doable. Watch your fingers!
A prepped piece of craft plywood is the perfect backer and clothespins attach easily with hot glue.
And there it is! Fun, colorful and totally useful, this can stand up on a flat surface like a desk or bookcase or wall hung with the proper hardware on the back. Nifty!

How about putting a magnet on the back to adhere to the refrigerator?

Useful to hold recipe cards when cooking. The magnet idea is great! Super idea.
