A Silver & Purple Glam Christmas Tree

What is a Christmas tree? How should you decorate? Should you have a theme? A color scheme? Fun and whimsical or sophisticated and classy? These are the questions every year millions of people are faced! Hard questions in life, right?
Well, I am so excited to show you my silver and purple glam Christmas tree for 2015! We decided to go the sophisticate route realizing that soon my one year old is going to have a say in what ornaments go on the tree.
Besides the typical sparkly and classy ornaments, I used a mix of bead, glittery, and burlap garlands to help add some fun texture and movement to the tree. The ornaments were mix of ones I've collected over the years and some fun purple ones I borrowed from a friend that she got from World Market years ago.
Of course because my site is Burlap and Babies I had to add in the burlap. My secret is looking for stuff in the non-seasonal section at the craft store where there will be better prices plus you are more likely to be able to use your 40% coupons. What a deal!!
I found this floral decorative accent burlap for super cheap that gave my tree that extra rustic touch.
And what tree isn't complete without some lovely painters paper wrapped presents with homemade ribbon bows? Love this simple packaging. Be sure to follow me at Burlap and Babies when I share with you in a few weeks my simple idea for how to gift wrap when you're in a time crunch!

Merry christmas Amanda. Floral decorative accents burlaps are amazing choice. How about using mosses to decorate #ChristmasTree or even making a tree using mosses .
