Go to a candy shop for inspiration. Maybe buy one of those HUGE Swirled candy suckers or candy canes. Keep the cellophane on it & dangling more of your own, pretty, ribbon. (Never too much ribbon) Your trees scrumptious. Happy Holidays!

One year I made red/white peppermint swirled candies out of two white Styrofoam paper plates stapled together around the edges. Cover with cello.

I haven't tried this idea, but have read about it and think this would be fun to try, and would be super cute on your tree! How about making a cute candy topper using either melted jolly ranches (gives a stained glass look) or melted peppermint candies? You can google how and I also see some on Pinterest. Looks like you can melt the in a cookie cutter or candy mold or use other interesting shapes you find.

@Libertad I would probably make a large green & white swirl lollipop like the smaller ones you have on your tree for the topper. Using either an appropriately sized round piece of Styrofoam (that can be pricey though) or a couple of Styrofoam plates glued together for your lollipop with green glitter swirls & a dowel rod stick painted to match the small ones. If you want more cheap candy décor on your tree, or maybe a garland, or wreath somewhere you might use my candy can garland for inspiration changing the colors to match your decor. Use a candy size cupcake paper and glue a small brown ornament inside with hanger on top. Looks like a mini chocolate cup cake.

u could wire and make a design like a circle or a star and tie christmas candy around it
  • You said candy themed but what about the fake cupcakes made out of tire filler foam? They are called Cupfakes and they are adorable. Maybe make a few of them and then glue/bind 3 of them together in order to make the base and then add one more to the top/center. With the right "toppings" on the cupfakes this could fall into the candy category.

I've seen gumdrop constructed stars, which are cute, but I love this candy cane "bouquet" from Epicurious. You could find candy canes in different colors, of course. Good luck!

Search for "candy tree topper" on Pinterest. I found many cute ideas there. You can use their ideas and customize to match colors on your tree. I liked these....add a set of wings and you could have a gumdrop angel! :-) https://www.pinterest.com/pin/516999232194437637/
