Transformation Dining Rm & Entry Hall Weekend

My son wasn't pleased with his olive drab dining room and the lightbulb went off..what about beadboard, new rug and paint to match
This is the 'before' picture. Olive green paint and a dark (although beautiful) rug
The entry hall was a little dark as well
He decided to pick up on a beautiful blue color in his new rug.
This wall will become the 'wall of shame' filled with family photos
This wall in the dining room will become super bright and hopefully lighten up the room
Up goes the beadboard. First covering the wall with liquid nails. Hubby bought a new portable compressor with 3 guns.
One piece of beadboard up, secured by the liquid nails and a few finishing nails.
All the beadboard is up (and the light switch and plug in holes were perfect! whew!)
Finish the top off with some pretty molding and a coat of paint all over.
The pictures don't do our finished room justice. A few more finishing touches and it will be perfect.
The Family 'wall of shame' (lol) almost done. Just need another frame and print out some pics. What a great weekend!

Everything looks great! Is your table from World Market? If so, how well has it held up from scratches and nicks.

It's my son's, but yes, it's World Market. He really likes it although it's in the dining room and it doesn't get used much. It's a beautiful table and there are no scratches or nicks. He's moved it twice but is very careful about covering it entirely with shrink wrap.
