We grew this plant at the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College when I worked there years ago. My memory is that it is tough and a good doer. It has been around for a long time. Site it where you can let it develop into a nice fountain shape and not butcher it back.

Thanks Erica, I was thinking about adding them to the mix this spring in the nursery- they are also supposed to be deer resistant....lol...even though deer don't read :)
