Custom cedar arbor enhances home's front entrance and paver patio provides sitting and gathering area.

Creating a warm and welcoming space at the home entrance is very important. The cedar arbor has enough space for a least four people to interact and then move to other areas. Sidewalks should be large enough to allow several people move freely and to be there without having to be on the driveway. The front patio is perfect for hanging out and being social in the neighborhood.
A beautiful space is created at the homes entrance. The space is a transition zone that leads to the front yard patio or front door.
The arbors height helps in creating a human scale at the entrance.
Flower pots allow for seasonal color changes.
Interlocking concrete paver patio and walk.
Natural stone steps and retaining wall add to the main axis of the entrance.

I love this type of landscaping at the front of a house. Most often today's landscaping only allows the front yard to be seen, but not really used. This is awesome.
