Ugly EndTable Upcycle

Admit it, you walk by these old relics of the past and think "how hideous, no one will ever buy that!"
Well I did and I hope to change your mind after you see this upcycle.
I purchased the ugliest one in the store, cut a hole in the top and then added a bit of imagination to come up with this fun little gem.
I deconstructed the drawer which made it look like a disaster but bear with me, there's a method to this madness!
I also added a little "backsplash" from a scrap board, sanded and painted the entire piece.
See the cute little oven space?, just the right space for a mini sized cookie sheet!
Now the fun begins, adding all of the remaining fun accessories...
..and hidden surprises.


It's one of my favorite trash to treasure upcycles so far!

    Was there veneer on the top? And if so, how did you remove the veneer?

    WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE OTHER PIECES? LOOKS LIKE THEY COULD TURN INTO NICE DRESSER, NIGHT STAND, ETC.
