Something New for My Mantle

I like to change up the display on my mantle every year. So I decided to make a Christmas ornament frame display.
Finished!
First I decided to use a picture frame I had bought for a different purpose but changed the color with some white chalk paint I had.
Started to paint haphazardly
Then I wanted to add some glitter to it so I applied a layer of twinkle paint.
Used sponge applicator.
Once it dried, I attached some removable tiny hangers to the back of the frame. Waiting for paint to dry was the hardest.
This way I can remove after Christmas!
I grabbed red balls and silver balls from my stash amd attached fishing line of different lengths using a fisherman's knot.
I tied these to the hanging doohickeys in different lengths and there you have it!
This year's display....
