Bringing Daffodils inside...

I would like to dig up and bring inside, some of my Daffodils that are just starting to come up. Anyone know if they will bloom inside? Thanks!

    Lorrie, daffodils make long-lasting cut flowers, so why not just do that? And daffodils can be forced to bloom indoors with an adequate chilling period, which yours have no doubt gotten outside, but those are generally ones that have always been in a pot. I would be afraid that digging them up now could stress them out so that they wilt rather than bloom.

    That last gasp of winter before the first blooms of spring can be the most agonizing time in the garden.

    Ha ha that is why I planted my horseshoe flower yesterday! At least SOMETHING is blooming, even if it is metal!

    @Lorrie B I agree with Douglas. If you want to have tulips in the house why not do what @Teresa D did - http://www.hometalk.com/diy/grow/tulip-bulbs/is-this-the-coolest-or-what-139069 I was going to do that after I saw it but the only time you can get daffodil and tulip bulbs is in the fall :P I picked up some gladiola bulbs and they are just starting to sprout. I used a tall large round candle holder - will post when when they grow a little more.
