Christmas Stocking Hangers

I saw an idea to use a box and put hangers on them to display your Christmas stockings on, but I wanted a more rustic look. So here is what I came up with.
Started with two of these old Pepsi crates I got at a bazaar.
Drilled holes in them where I wanted my knobs to go. Using the right size bit of course.
Stapled some burlap around the outside.
I bought 4 of these knobs at hobby lobby. I can use chalk to write our names on them.
Screwed on the knobs through the burlap.
I put bricks in the boxes so Santa can fill our stockings.

Then I added a lighted garland and some decor on top of the bricks.

I thought I would need the floral foam to help make my decor stand up better, but found the bricks i used had the holes in them and those helped prop them up. So you may need the foam depending on your decor.
I didn't have the chalk yet to write our names on the knobs, but will do that as soon as I get some.
And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
