Pinecones are everywhere! Pick up a few and create a trendy and cheerful holiday centrepiece. With just a little paint and patience, you can create decorations that will last through the holidays and into winter. This project was created for the hop, brought to you by HomeTalk.com and CountryLiving.com!
To create your pinecone centrepiece, you will need:

- 7-12 medium or small pinecones

- acrylic paint in a variety of colours (you can also go monochromatic!)

- small paintbrush

- clear glass vase

- optional: small pillar candle
Paint the seed scales of the pine cones in gradient colours (I used blue, but you could use anything you'd like!), starting from the lightest and working your way darker. You can also add glitter to the seed scales, if you prefer a little more glam in your holiday decor!
Group your pinecones in a clear glass vase. You can also add a small pillar candle to the centre of the vase if you'd like to add a romantic glow. To see other ways of incorporating pinecones into your holiday decor, please visit Flourish & Knot!
