Welcome to our Christmas home tour! This year I wanted to do something a little different then the traditional red and green decor. You can see our 2014 Christmas tour on my blog (to compare). This year is all about neutrals, lush greenery with wood and natural accents, with a touch if sparkle!
Our main living room area.
Bottle brushed trees, found at the Dollar store. That place has so many affordable decorations!
Our woodland inspired Christmas tree.
Neutral wrapped presents!! I love adding bows and ribbons to dress them up :)
A view from our dining area.
Our faux fireplace mantel I just finished painting! I'm hoping to share a few before and after photos on the blog, stay tuned!!
These wooden trees, my dad and I created! The chicken wire card holder was another DIY, check back in a week for more updates :)
A Hot Cocoa Bar!! The kids favourite, likely because thats where all the goodies are *wink wink
Our kitchen dining area and famous FA LA LA LA LA marquee sign!! Love how much whimsical character it brings to our home :) You can visit the step-by-step tutorial at helloyellowblog.ca
Our "bringing the outdoors in" tablescape, featuring DIY no-sew napkins and seedling planters made from soup cans!

Hi, I love your ideas. I have this sewing machine, In one of three train cars, that is carefully!full of many things from 1950s up lol. Maybe even later. My question is What ideas do you have for a old Victrola that has been turned into a dresser which I don't use for my mom done that when I was a child. It's still in the same stain the top lifts and is bare and the front opens to a big enter with two shelves front has two small doors.

I love that blue cabinet with the drawers.......it is beautiful. The black hat on the stool, Ami on Alaskan Bush people, wears it.
