DIY Christmas Tree Ornaments With Scrapbook Paper

Make beautiful DIY Christmas tree ornaments by gluing pretty scrapbook papers on paper mache ornaments! Easy, inexpensive, fast! You can even add embellishments like colored rhinestones. I show you how here ...
This is patterned colorful scrapbook paper. Just cut out and glued on to a paper mache ornament. Can you believe this is that easy?
This is glittery scrapbook paper. You can find glitter paper in the scrapbook aisles of craft stores like Michaels and Joann.
Here are supplies you would need. And a pen and scissors. I prefer Aleene's Tacky Glue instead of Mod Podge. I find papers tend to wrinkle less with Aleene's glue.
Paint the edges of the paper mache ornament so they don't look like cardboard. Then trace and cut out the scrapbook paper, and glue it on. It's that easy. I think it's the choice of the papers that makes the difference. Look for gorgeous colors, patterns and textures in scrapbook papers.
Here's a pile of the kinds of ornaments you can make. Once you glue paper onto the ornaments, you can paint stencils on the papers and add other embellishments to dress them up.
