What Happens When You Give a Kid Some Bugs
Using lemonade jars, fairy lights and paint the grandkids made their own lighted bug jars! Fun and easy craft for all skill levels.
Clean up some jars, grab some paint (we used stained glass paint) some fairy lights from the dollar store and a hot glue gun for this kid craft.
Step 1 paint your jars!
Hot glue on your bugs! Our dollar store fairy lights came with dragonflies, butterflies and flowers. The clear bugs the kids painted and added sparkle glue for some shine.
Push the fairy lights into your jar and glue the battery pack to the back side. Wow! They work!
And a cool glow in the dark too!
