Replacing Ugly, Dangerous Brass Hooks With Sleek, Modern Folding Hooks

Our house came with a set of coat hooks, mounted on a board, attached to the wall leading down to the basement.
These bloodthirsty coat hooks were ready to scratch and gouge the arms and eyes of anyone who dared to pass by. The staircase is narrow, so there was no escaping their long, metal arms. They needed to be removed before the stairs resembled a crime scene.

But we still needed coat hooks for overflow storage when guests stop by. I found the folding coat hooks at IKEA. Now we can hang coats when we need to, and fold them away when we don't! And so far no one has been injured by them!
