White and Stained Vintage Country Hutch

I recently completed this hutch for a client of mine who loves using family pieces in her home (in fact, I did a coffee/end table set over the summer for her in a similar style).
I styled it simply for Christmas.
I began this makeover by sanding the original finish off the top and staining it in GF's Antique Walnut. I love it's richness without being over the top dark.
The remainder of the hutch was finished in GF's Antique White and distressed to give that country feel.
The original hardware remained and stands out beautifully against the white.
I styled it simply for Christmas. So see more pics, plus the dated before please stop by my blog.
