I have used postage stamps to make my Christmas gift tags this year. You can use stamps with Christmas designs for a festive look or personalise the tags by matching them to the recipients interests.
All you need is some old postage stamps (Charity shops good source), glue stick, kraft/luggage labels, washi tape trim and bakers twine.
Pick Christmas themed stamps or match the picture to the person. My father writes wildlife books so I used stamps with pictures of birds and animals for his gift tags. My husband loves skiing so I used a stamp with a skier on for his tag.
Simply stick your stamp to your blank tag, trim with washi tape and add bakers twine.
These are so simple to make and look lovely.

Carole on Dec 17, 2015What a lovely idea! I usually use pieces of previous years Xmas greeting cards received. Seems a shame they get chucked out after Xmas or sent to recycle. Some are very pretty. Love your stamps idea.
