Adventures in Chalk paint: free hand painted child's chair.

I bought this for $10 and covered the original drab grey with white and grey chalk paint. I wanted to do an Argyle pattern on this chair seat, but my stencil wouldn't lay flat enough so I decided to just try a free hand design. I started with pencil and filled in with black latex. Super easy and fun. I was surprised at how well it covered with a chalk paint base. Now I just have to finish it with a sealer and it's ready to use. I plan to try some more 'free hand' on other furniture in the future!
