What to do with this?

Some thrift items, rocks bought at JoAnn's for 50% off. I would like the candle holder to be panited a "brick" red, but not sure what to do with the silver plate....maybe a neutral color? Stone texture? This is also something I want to eventually have sitting on my table when the kitchen is done, so I am trying to keep those colors in mind. Maybe a light golden color?

I'd leave it all as it is and add a candle the color of your kitchen and let the natural elements of the objects speak for themselves. Nice collection.
