Vintage Sheet Music Wreath

I wanted to share a wreath that I made for my niece. She has a music room in her house & I thought it would be cool to use sheet music on a project. I went to one of my favorite antique stores & sure enough they had a basket full of vintage sheet music for a great price! I am sure you have probably seen a tutorial for these paper wreaths before, but basically you just roll the sheets into a cone shape. I use the round cardboard from a frozen pizza-it works great. Simply glue the cones starting at the outer edge working your way in. I start in the center edge on each side to try to keep it uniform, but if it doesn't look even you can just fill it in with another sheet. Book pages also make great wreaths.
I cover the back of the cardboard with sheet music as well. My favorite part is the center medallion. I folded a sheet every quarter inch back & forth & glued it in half. I made four of these & then attached them to the center. I also added a rhinestone embellishment. It is pretty on its own, but on this thrift store mirror it is stunning! I used a black ribbon to hang it to the mirror. She can either use them together or separately. She said it

was so much better than a gift card!
