      The patina was done with paint layering. Pretty simple to do, really. Just keep laying different colors over each other until you have the desired effect!

    I have something similar to what you;re describing. I was thinking of adding burlap or chicken wire or both but, as of yet, I haven't made any real decision on it. I'm actually a little stuck! lol. But when I actually decide, I'll be sure to post it and maybe it will inspire you. Or, you post yours first and inspire me! :)
