Advice on a food processor/blender combination

I have been thinking of purchasing a food processor/blender combination. If any of you have one I would love some input of how you like yours and what brands you have.

I have not seen a combo type unit. In my home I do not use either too often...my blender is a 40 year old vintage Waring 2 speed, this is a workhorse and we use it for smoothies mostly. My food processor is a mini cusinart, which mostly grates cheese and grinds graham crackers crumbs. The blender live in the deep corner of the counter, and the cusinart in one of the upper cabinets...it only comes out when needed.

Thank you for your input KMS. I was thinking the combo type would take up less room. I want the blender for smoothies too. I have wondered about the Mini Cuisinarts.

Cuisinart makes a combo unit and it can be found on line or at Costco, and a few 'of the home goods retailers.
