How to match wood floor, stone walls, sofit and ceiling
We live in a newer log cabin. We are finishing our walkout basement to include a mstr bath. This mstr bath will have no windows. I am wanting a country rustic spa look.We have a restored clawfoot tub which will be the center of attention. The double vanity is a medium oak color with darker edges and a cream colored granite top. Floor will be hickory hardwood. We want to have partial stone walls with a stone wall shower. The ceiling has to dip down over the vanity to cover the ductwork. We need help finding ideas for the walls and ceiling. I wanted an embossed tin ceiling for the lower soffit but it's way out of our price range. If we drywall the ceiling and trim it with beams does the wood have to match the floor and how do we tie in the upper ceiling to the lower ceiling over the vanity.
