I made one of these because I had a lot of succulents of all kinds in my yard. It turned out beautiful but didn't do well hanging on the outside door. It was too hard to keep adequately watered and spritzing didn't help either. I attached it to a metal easel stand (like they use at cemeteries for wreaths during Christmas etc.) and put it in our flower bed where the sprinklers would hit it and get watered regularly. It flourished and was beautiful until the racoons tore it all up. Would suggest trying one.... you won't be sorry. Quick instructions if you can't find them. Buy 18" metal wreath frame from Micheals etc. wrap meat moss evenly around frame front and back wrapping fishing line around wreath as you go to secure meat moss to the frame. Use pencil to punch hole in the secured peat moss insert stem of succulent in hole and secure base of the clipping with a hairpin to hold it in the frame. The cuttings will root over a period of time. Will fill in as it grows. Some use root starter on the stem, but I didn't and it worked out fine. Succulents are really hardy and will grow almost anywhere.

Thank you for the instructions. Wasn't sure if it would work. I've been having issues with my succulents since obtaining them earlier this year. Maybe am trying to hard. Hard to know. Will see if this is something that can be easily made to keep them alive longer. Will keep in mind your suggestion of attaching to a metal easel stand for easier watering in the yard. And yes, we have racoons once in awhile as well. Will keep that in mind.
