A Chevron Stenciled Girls Bedroom

Decorating a little girl's room has never been more fun. The decor options are unlimited from wall stencils to brightly colored bedspreads to room accessories. Today we're going to show you how you can create a dream bedroom for your daughter with this sweet stencil decorating idea. A Chevron Stenciled Girls Bedroom
One of our favorite DIY decorators gave her daughter a bedroom makeover featuring our very popular Chevron Allover Stencil.
We'd like to introduce Deborah, the DIY decorator behind the blog Parkham Living. Her daughter, Gabriella, was ready for a room makeover and had requested a room that was red, white, and blue. Deborah listened to her daughter's wishes but put the designer twist on it. She found this adorable bicycle print on Etsy that ended up being her color inspiration.
Once she was set on a color scheme of teal, dark pink, and white, Deborah was ready to go! She felt the room needed pattern to bring it to life. She said, "Every room needs a WOW factor! I wanted to use wallpaper but because of the budget, time, and the fact I would have to learn how to hang it, was not very motivating. Stenciling seemed the way to go. I found an awesome company called, Cutting Edge Stencils. They have a ton of designs"

Deborah and her daughter fell in love with our Chevron Allover Stencil, a very popular zippy stripe pattern. She used painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern in a soft beige over white.
Here is her daughter's newly stenciled bedroom.
Deborah says, "I wanted the design to last and be something she could grow with." We totally think this sophisticated space will last her many years.
