My Chineese Evergreen has a long stalk. The top of it broke off. Will it grow back?

Are you asking about a houseplant? (Aglaonema maybe?) Is it possible that you could post a picture of your plant?

If you have the same type of Chinese Evergreen as I do, it's really forgiving. My baby keeps ripping the tops off mine, and they grow back - usually. Just keep watering - sparingly.

It would indeed help if you could post a photo, Arlene. I think it would be odd for an aglaonema to have one long stalk, but, as Steve says, they are about as forgiving as houseplants get.
