When a new bed left my son without a bedskirt, I cut up his old one (which was actually new) and used it on his queen bed, no sewing required and only about 10 minutes. Saved me from having to buy a new one.

Bed skirts drive me NUTS! I find that they make them about 3" on each side too short. I wish they would allow some room to go around the corner at the top. I finally cut the center out of mine and hot glued it to the inside of the bed frame. I have done this several times and the hot glue will snap right off if you want to change it out later! I use dark bed skirts so I don't have to worry about washing them so often!

Jeanette - Yes! and that is another reason I wasn't excited about finding a new one. This mattress is extra deep, and finding this one was a royal pain in the butt!! But as they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat!!
