go to natureslawn.com they have natural products that work to improve youre soil which create better lawns. i use these products and have since fired my lawn service because it works so well i dont need help with the lawn

The only thing I can think of is a Thistle plant. they have thorns all up and down the leaves. If you have trouble getting rid of them use a weed digger and pour some vinegar down the hole where the root came out.
