bought used fridge, what are reccomended temps for freezer and fridge?

    Every spot in the fridge should be between 34 and 40 degrees F. You can get a fridge thermometer to check the actual temperature against the setting. I would set it in different spots to make sure nothing freezes and no spot gets above 40. The freezer should be between 0 and 5 F.

    Thanks, exactly what I needed. My ice cubes are hollow, guess that is because the freezer temp is 12 degrees. I will lower temp and try again. Ron C.

    I emptied my ice bucket and added only cubes from a different ice maker. opened gate and ice cubes were still perfect after 2/3 days. The ice cubes in this refrig seem to have a chemical taste also... when I let the ice cubes make by themselves, they all get frozen together. I must have water coming from the ice maker, freezing the cubes together... I adjusted temp/air control to freezer and will see what difference that makes. Ron
