1920's 4-Poster Waterfall Headboard and Footboard Turned Bench!
See how I transform this full size bed into a beautiful bench! Painted in Kristi Kuehl 100% Non-Toxic Pure Home Paints. Bisque, Distressed and Matte Protective Finish. Vintage Rag Banner front and a crib mattress for the cushion.
I had to raise the Headboard 4 inches so the footboard, that I cut in half, would meet up with the post.
Using a Kreg jig, we drilled pilot holes and attached each half of the footboard to the headboard.....
Using one of the siderails, we created the front cross board and the base for the bench. She is now hraded to the store for her makeover!
I painted her in Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paints Bisque, Heavily Distressed and Matte Protective Finish. Added a crib mattress and a vintage rag banner in the front.
