Ottoman Redo

Our well loved ottoman was in dire need of a makeover. The piece was originally purchased at a community yard sale for the whopping price of $15.
The integrity of the piece was still sound - however, the leather was starting to peel...
And... some of the color was fading.
So, I picked up some quilt batting at my local Goodwill for $2.92 and some Burgundy Suede fabric at JoAnn's (3 yards for 1/2 price came up to a total of $21).
I sewed a simple seam at each corner, cut away the additional fabric at each edge and used the remaining yard of fabric for the bottom piece. I was able to reuse the legs.
The final product was Chloe approved!
So, less than $40 later - it's ready for our next movie night.
