SOIL PH TESTERS

I am looking for a soil ph / moisture tester, does anyone have any recomendations.
I am also trying to keep the price under 100 dollars. Thank you and Happy Gardening

    Phil, most home quality pH meters are unreliable. Tests done though a state extension service use far more sophisticated equipment and are generally inexpensive. In fact, in your case, I think a basic soil test may be free.

    If you have a local agricultural center state or university level my offer testing for free . Check around.

    I think they may sell the kits at some stores. I remember picking some up at the Home Depot, but I never used it. Maybe try to buy some litmus paper online, or get some phenolphthalein or red cabbage juice to use as an indicator.
