Ikea Rast Turned Toddler Nightstand

I was honored to participate with awesome other bloggers in the challenge hosted by Hickory Hardware and PPG Voice of Color Paint.
When I learned I would be participating I figured this was the perfect chance to create a toddler nightstand to put into our soon to be big boy room.
I wanted something that would grow with him, that was masculine, but not "kiddie". I love how it turned out.
This is what the chest looked like before. I wanted to take out the top drawer and add a shelf so it was easy to to take out and put away his nightly reading books.

I removed the drawer, cut some scrap wood to size, filled in the holes, and nailed the shelf into place with finishing nails.
I chose the color gray flannel by PPG and painted the entire piece.
To add a little interest and personalization I stenciled my sons initials on the bottom. It also looks a little industrial which I love.
I added Lucite knobs by Hickory Hardware and the makeover was complete!

I love how it turned out! I can't wait to implement it into my sons room when he gets his big boy bed!

Would you please provide the details of the paint you used? Color/ number? Did you use a clear coat after the color? If so, what kind?
