Can a hole in glass be repaired?

I knocked a thumbsize hole in bottom corner of a square glass beverage container. Is there anything that will mend it and not be harmful to use as intended?

while there are many acrylic epoxies made that can mend cracks and such, I know of no product that will safely fill any kind of hole and stand up to washing and temp changes that a glass container would be subject to. I think your out of luck on this.
