Pallet Wood Mason Jar Organizer

Even though this idea has been around forever - and shared a zillion times, I thought I would share my photographic tutorial on how I made a mason jar organiser. (For the whole story on why I needed to make one visit the blog via the link at the bottom of this post.)
Mason jar organisers are easy to make. First: measure and mark wood to length. Some people make these with three or four jars, but mine is for two.
Cut.
Paint in desired colour.
I wanted a rough rustic look, so I painted the base in grey, drybrushed white over the top.
Glue the middle join.
The use three staples to hold wood together.
Drill a hole in the last slot of the hose clamp to make it round.
Pop a nail through and attach to the wood in the premarked position.
Attach to wall. I used these for all the makeup brushes.
