tape marks on wall

when we moved in we ran out of money to paint. we have been living with just primed walls for years. we are now ready to paint HOWEVER life happened. projects were hung, decorations were hung. i now have tape marks on the primed walls. if i try to rub them off the primer and dry wall come off. is there anything i can use to remove the marks? thanks

I would just hit them with a bit of fine sandpaper and then "spot" prime before painting...be sure to lets the primer fully dry / cure before painting...I like to wait 24 hours.
