Did anything above help with this baking sheets? I have a few I'm about to throw out unless I find a way. Thanks Betty

They all seem like good ideas. As Betty asked, it would be nice to know the results of the suggestions. Obviously, one could "just try the answers" but it would be much better if the results could be shared.

I have a self cleaning oven & when I went to clean the oven I had forgotten I left a pan that was in worst shape than yours in the oven . After the oven cleaned it's self & I opened the door & could not believe the pan , it looked brand new . I have done the same thing again & all my pans came out the same way , looking brand new

If you have a self cleaning oven put the cookie sheet in the oven while it is cleaning and they come out like brand new. I have done it many times and works like a charm.

I found many helpful hints on pinterest. One was using a paste of baking soda and peroxide. Slather liberally onto the baking sheet, and set aside for a few hours. Then give it a scrub. If it doesn't come clean right away, repeat the BS & peroxide.Now....some say make a paste, others say layer the bs, pour peroxide over it, then sprinkle with more bs, but I like the paste. It also worked great on my oven window! Don't make it too thick; you need the moisture from the peroxide to make it all work.

Put them in a tub with hot soapy water using dishwashing liquid. I always use Dawn. Just enough water to cover the baking sheets. Then lay dryer sheets on the baking sheet.. Soak for 4 to 8 hours. Use the wet dryer sheets to wipe off the baked on residue. It is amazing how well this works. I clean my oven racks and grill racks this way. I also wet the dryer sheets and lay them on my cooktop to clean it. Try it and let us know how it turned out for you.

Use 3/4 cup of Baking Soda, add just enough Hydrogene Peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers/brush, let sit about 5 minutes, rinse off and voila! It will Shine. Good on Stainless steel sinks and anything Silver.

Sprinkle with baking soda, then spray with hydrogen peroxide (put it in a little spray bottle). Sprinkle a bit more baking soda and let it sit for a couple of hours. If it's really bad, you rub the paste like mixture into the pan to make sure it is all covered. After a few hours, just rinse it off. It come out almost as good as new.
