If you have wider cracks in the grout or missing grout then it's time to consider removing the old grout and installing new grout between the tiles. If you have hairline cracks you can easily repair the small cracks.

If your older grout is NOT loose, you can get by with just grouting the missing area. I would suggest to then seal all the grout to ward off further grout loosening.
  • If the shower is older or the grout has faded at all, just grout the missing areas. The get some grout stain and stain the whole area. These stains work really well, you can change the color and it will cover the first time.
  • I hope you dont have colored grout, matching it may be a little painful.
