If Your Kid Loves Legos Then You NEED These!

The lego situation in our house was getting out of hand, and I could only see the problem getting worse as my kids were still requesting them for birthdays and Christmas. I love legos, but they take up a lot of space and we had no where to store them, let alone a place for my kids to actually play with them. Until now...
I finally solved my problem by building some lego tables that store the legos and allow my kids to pull them out and play.
Here is a before shot of my kids legos crammed on random furniture they took from the house to hold the sets. It looked so cluttered and this is without the new sets they got for Christmas!

I drew up some plans and set to work. The idea was to have the tables with hidden storage, and a table extension.
Building the table with pocket hole screws.
Adding trim to the doors.
After painting them I installed all the hardware and was done!

They store tons of sets and now we are clutter free!
And my kids can pull them out and play to their hearts content. :)

Ahh, problem solved.
