How to Paint Your Room Like a Pro

Although painting walls isn’t my most favorite things to do, it isn’t worth it for me to hire it out. So if you have an upcoming painting project, don’t just hire it out, consider doing it yourself.
You really can achieve amazingly beautiful and professional results if you know a few tips and tricks. So today I am excited to share my tips for How to Paint Your Room like a Pro.
The before was beige. I decided to use Sherwin-Williams Repose Gray paint for the space. It is a light gray color that is very neutral and it lets the room feel light and airy still.
I used my HomeRight PaintStick applicator with my Mini PaintStick handle but you can easily use just the PaintStick to achieve these results. Click through to get all of my tips! You really can do this yourself.

I did the same with my automatic paint roller. Saved me some back breaking time. The trick is to paint the ceiling a shade lighter than the walls. All looks lighter and more open. This has worked for me. Professional painters know this trick.
